Mom!

I don't have a lot of time right now because I spent it all playing with elder clark, but I had a week that was awesome and I want to tell you about it. It's kinda of a followup from last week and everything that I was feeling there, it's just kinda a lot more clear to me now and I had some way cool experiences along with it. So imma just dive in.

Monday we went out, and honestly didn't get that much, which is hard when you are going to be gone during the week. But regardless we had a good night.

Tuesday, was hard. I dont really have time to go into all of the details why, but it just was. It was one of those days where you realize that you've been going for a really long time, and a whole bunch of things just start to mess with your head. when nothing super exciting is happening with your area you're brought back to the point where its really easy to throw myself down and to say that I must be doing something wrong. Despite the fact I've experienced this over and over, after a 5 hour trip from trondheim to Tromsø I was having a really hard time. Not that anyone really knew it, but I just felt done with everything.
We were about to have another splits and I think I was just feeling the pressure that everyone expects you to have success and to help others, and I was afraid in a sense, and tired of the whole thing. My prayers that night were some of the most honest I've ever had with God. I came to the point where its not that I didn't have a testimony, I was just done. I give up. Its not worth it. I've tried for almost 2 years to not compare myself to others, and it still happens. I've tried for almost 2 years to have results and good things happen, and it just doesn't seem like i'm getting anywhere. Let it be known I was having a hard time.

Wendnesday, was amazing. I woke up, and for studies I did a free write in my journal about all the different thoughts I had. I knoew that I needed Christs atonement. I didn't want to give up. I needed help to really want to be here still though. A mission is literally the best thing ever. But for many reasons it gets really really hard at times. SoWednesday was gods day to prove me wrong. I was feeling quite a bit better after a good studies, and when we went out, I honestly wasn't really sure what would happen. I honestly felt like I had lost faith in myself. Not neccesarily god. More just me. God kinda proved me wrong though. Or at least he lifted me up when I felt like I couldn't go any farther. In the 3 or 4 hours we spent on the streets that day, I don't think i've had any more success in my life. In terms of quantity anyways. And in a lot of ways quality too because most of them were norwegians. We knew exactly where to go knocking. We knew who to talk to, and we knew what to say. I and I learned a very important lesson that it is really God that is behind everything here. Not that I didn't know all these things before, but by the end of the day I felt great. And it only got better when I stuck my head out the window, and saw a streak of northern lights that night. We busted out of the apt. and ran to the nearest hill so we could see them better. They were still just off in the distance but they were still really cool. All in all by the end of that day I just felt Gods love. Thats what I bore my testimony about in sacrament meeting. I knew that what i've done is enough. It was an amazing experience where God just picked me up and took me forward.

Thursday. Our plane boards at 6:20 in the morning. No problem right? We'll just call a taxi. I go change and Elder skinner Calls. its now 5:05. Wait. No one is available? All booked out? You cant help us? ok. bye. ... So wait. no busses. no nightbusses, no members, no senior couple, no car, no taxi, no anything. Well... We could run to the airport... it'll probbalby faster if we go over the middle of the island. Dude thats a 40 minute bus ride from here. its now5:20. Shoot. We're running. Pakc fast, Pray that we have God Speed and Get out. Its now 5:25, and we're hauling down the icy road. We've got a long way to go. I feel that everything will be ok though. 5:40. Wait our plane leaves at 6,55 right? nope. 6,40. Crap.  We find the cross country skiing trail that leads across the island. We slip and fall a few times, but get up and keep going. 6:00: We make to the main road again. We can see the airport but we're still a good ways away and we have to run around the airstrip. You're kidding right. We start sprinting. 6:09. We make it the Jekta senter. at the bottom of the airstrip. Our plane starts boarding... ( they started early) We are all cashed out. But the spirit says: You've got to keep going! You Cant give up now! DONT GIVE UP! So I grab his bedding and mine and take off again. This next run was the worst 10 minutes of my life i'm pretty sure. I think I know what it's like to run a marathon and throw up at the end. And It was made harder by the fact I had 35 pounds of extra stuff (i wieghed it). 3 times I wanted to just start walking. 'No you cant walk!" Every time I was told to keep going! 6:22 we made it to the airport. They would let us print off our tickets at first and then they relented and we ran! Tons of lines... We skipped and jsut went through. WE were COMPLETELY SOAKED at this point. mY suit jacked was completely wet. It was sooo gross. WE stunk. We ran through, didn't even bother to put on our belts or shoes ran onto the plane and the gate closed behind us. ... 6:25. We took the back 2 seats on the plane and collapsed.

10:35 I got the best tasting powerade of my life. Stupid planes with no water. Long bussride home
11. Shower
12. WE go out with a member after grabbing a sandwhich and teach some old people while we're half falling asleep. The first lady asked for a blessing and we were able to do that for her. She has had her husband die just recently, and now she cant walk. But God does take care of us. He always helps us. She said that its really him that knows whats going to happen and what we can do. I was in complete agreence. Be at peace with what you have. Reap the peace that comes from your faith.
5:30 Myren buys us kbab, and then we run to help George.
6:30 I'm afraid for my life because he drives no handed.
7:30 We're at Missionary coordiantion meeting. I'm really tired.
8:30 We run out to see a strip of norther lights RIGHT OVER OUR HEADS!!!
9:30 We get home and haven't seen any more. But we run out onto our balcony just to check. THERE WAS A HUGE BRIGHT SQUGGLIY LINE right over our heads. ANd more popped up. We started going crazy and i got some amazing pictures even with my little dopey camera. IT WAS SOO COOL!!!! They were the best lights anyone has seen in trondheim in years. We were going nuts.
11 the lights have stopped. I'm going to bed. Heavenly father, thanks for the awesome day. :)

That run taught me one of the coolest lessons on my mission. EVERy single time I wanted to give up. God said: NO. Not yet. Don't give up yet. Just keep going a little more. K i'm out of time. There is sooo much more!
The two black ninjas challenged the white ninja in our apt on saturday. needless to say, my closet door got broken, and our apt. got trashed in the fight. We went all out :)

And At the end, on sunday after talking with olea, I know why i'm here. Sort of :) I'm doing what God needs me to do. And I feel great about it. The whole rest of the week was amazing. WAy cool finding. random referalls.

aNyways.

I love you mom!

I'll send some pic!

February 17, 2014

hey WonderMommy!

You really should stop worrying so much about the lengths of your emails. :) Trust me, even your shortest one is above average of what a lot of people get. I don't mind that we like talking to each other a lot but you definately shouldnt worry about it. :) I'm sorry that you had to get a nasty cold right now :) Hang in there, and know that I'll go extra hard, and pray for you this week. As a fun little fact, it was norwegain mothers day last week. Sooo HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!!! That's the benefit of having a son serving in a foreign country right? You get to have two mothers days!!!! unfortunately we only get to skype once though :)

In other news! We have a member here Myren who is  a super good friend of mine now who has been giving us daily updates to the olympics :) And don't tell anyone but I watched the norwegian vs. canada curling game while I was at the airport on my way to bodø. :) It was cool. It stinks that i've now missed 2 olymips in a row, especially cause the winter olympics are huge for norway. Apparently Norway won the olympics in Salt lake :) WHo knew? :) I miss it though. We played a little hand curling game a couple weeks ago which was super cool because I got to learn the rules and its a super cool game. Even the little table top one got me super into it :) Thats stinks that they are taking president nielson out right before I get home, because now I have no idea who I'll be coming back to. But what the heck right? doesnt make a huge difference who I end up talking to.

I guess I'll tell you a little about my spazztastical week. It was really good considering we were gone for like 4 days of it. But we are still struggling to find someone who is really positive and will really progress. We have had some cool people who seemed way cool on the first teach, but then nothing seemed to click after that. So that has been frustrating. maybe I just got over excited about things to begin with. It was cool to actually have the appointments we had go through and actually be able to teach people :) We had some cool miracles at the end of the week and were able to pull out some new investigators but it was still a little rough. One cool thing is I got to see my third baptism ever though! The sisters were teaching... or I guess the ward really was teaching a chinease woman named silu who got baptized on saturday and it was pretty cool to be able to see that. While we were sitting down by the font listening to the acutally meeting, (we were super bummed because none of the like 6 peopel who said they would be coming were able to come) but as we were sitting I got a pretty strong feeling to go upstairs and check to see if anyone was there. I clearly haven't learned my lesson completely because at first I ignored it, but then I did it, we left, and found one of the other elders investigators just about to leave who had been sitting in the chapel. We were able to talk with her and it ended up being really cool and a huge blessing for them cause they thought no one had come either. But it was weird to get that for their investigator... I guess i'm entilted to revalation for all the people investigating the church. It was a cool experience though. I really have had a lot of those this week. Just knowing who to call and wehre to go... and yeah. its been cool. We're still working on getting just the right people though. I feel like i'm being led more and more and more, and that I get crazy spriitual direction every single day when we go outside, and yet, i'm tired as heck, and we still just cant help these people get all the way... Its frustrating. Mostly just to keep throwing in more and more, and just pray something happens. I do have to say though, after all is said and done, that is what gives oyou the besty feeling at the end of the day.

The highlight of the week was DEFINATELY our trip to Bodø and Narvik though. We are in essense like traveling leaders for like the entire north of Norway, and at this point i've almost seen everything. Its super cool. Intresting note, we had our zone leader training twice, once in trondhiem, and once of all the people way north, and the first one we did didn't click at all. like at all. It was bad. I had one of the wierdest hardest days that day. I couldnt focus on anything and i felt super sick, and i didn't feel like our meeting had flowed at all. me and elder skinner couldn't figure it out. More tired than ever we got on the plane to bodø the next morning and I was just praying that the people who came to that one who be able to get what they needed out of it. I started out feeling terrible, and all at once I got this HUGE boost of energy, and I knew what to say. The whole second meeting went waay better, we just let it flow, took tons of time to let people practice and talk it out, and my whole idea about baptism and how improtant it is got changed by that meeting. In a way I feel like it is trying to throw me up against a wall again, but i'm cool with that. lets go. :)

After that, we played werewolves, (because these poor missionaries have no human interaction other than people saying nei takk) and then we 14 misisonaries hit the streets of the tiny town of bodø and went haam. As a backdrop to this, you should know I've been praying for weeks to know what to do to help the elders in bodø. They haven't had anything... at all. I don't even blame them. Because i've been there. In a sense you just need someone to give you the energy and the faith boost you need to say, look! you can find these people! I know that they're there!!! aahhhh! I wish i had known these things sooner. Even in the smallest litle podunk town ever, god still has people prepared for you. God definatley answered my prayer. There was only one tiny little main street to go contacting on so I took my grandson elder reber and we just went straight spirit banking. of the 10 or so people we contacted we got like 4 numbers in like 45 minutes. and a couple of appointments set up. By anyones standards it was unreal. ANd it always happens eventually! I just want to scream at the world: We can do this! Don't give up. I don't want anyone to just give up! Its the hardest thing in the world, but also the most rewarding. By far. You have no idea how happy I was when elder rowe (my grand daughter) called me the next day more excited than i've ever seen that kid. I just want them sooo badly to succeed. And they can. This whole week was full of miracles for everyone in the north.

Then we took a plane and spent the next 2 nights in Narvik with elder halverson and crook. It was super fun! I discovered my favorite chocolate ever! and I played with a toy helicopter, and saw tons of more miracles, had a suuuper fun time with those elders and just loved life and wore myself to the ground. Narvik has been the town of my dreams ever since elder anderson went there its always been the place i wanted to go :)

its really small

But despite that fact, after eating a way good lunch, we hit the streets and contacting down the one little highway with a grand total of 2 street lights on it . And it was awesome. After contacting some cool norwegian kids, I wasn't feelin it anymore so we prayed, crossed the bridge, found another cool norwegian kid, and followed the spirit. WE walked for probably 10 minutes (keep in mind this whole town has been knocked to the ground probably 20 times in the last 5 years) but we just went and I ended up turning down this street and just stopping. I had this feeling to go left, but the weird thing is that it was just the back of someones house and this weird little driveway thing. But hey. We went anyway :) and knocked the houses on the street over and found a way cool norwegain lady with a family and got a number and time to come back. Unreal cool. Then we walked back and had dinner. :) After I made them my famous smoothies and we listened to music that makes you fall asleep, me and elder crook went to go try this tryback past the overhang stadium, and it was super fun cause we got to this really icy hill thingy (ps it had just rained and then frozen soooo, imagine a place well over the arctic circle covered with ice) and there was a walking path going down that was suuuuper slik ice with no dirt or gravel on it. so i went to tthe top and said to my companion, if I die, I die with honor. And stepped onto it and started sliding down.

Proud to say i stayed on my feet the whole run and landed the jump at the bottom :)

The lady next to the door we were supposed to try ended up talking to me for about 10 minutes and we had a super cool conversation where I just talked super openly and helped someone to get into our shoes as missionaries. Maybe just to help them realize we aren't like scary or evil people but that we are really just there to help. It was a huge testimony for me at least. :) Basically this whole week was fuuuulll lto the brim with those. mOst weeks are, but i have a little bit more time to talk today. ;)

WE went and hade institutt with the 4 branch members and it wassss sooo cool. I love the spirit up there. THosse people have to be so strong to do what they do. I can't imagine being in such a small place with no families and almost no support at all. agk. Anyways. it was cool to experience that small branch feel. On sunday, the only person in the congregation in narvik was thier investigator. Pretty funny :)

Ok. whoo. aNyways. it was fantastic. by the end of that one day, we had chalked up 5 appointments and 15 numbers. Thats unreal. That would be better than most of my days in trondheim, wait cut that, I think that might be the most successs ever.

K well I need to go now. I love you mom! Have a fantastic week! I'll be praying my guts out for you.

Love,

Christopher

October 21, 2013

K. . .

WEll I gotta go. Like it 4 minutes.
So I'll try and write more later.

But if not. We slept on the floor in stavanger and had zone conference, where I learned that i'm suuuuper old in the mission. Like not just in writing but firsthand as we saw all the other missionaries. It was super fun. OUr plane had a hydrolic leak so we couldnt take off so we spent the night at the airport and ended up eating playing lots of games, getting way close with everyone and getting home the next day :) (like in the early nightime so we ended up sleeping at home.)

We taught Max a ton this week. He's officially been taught everything he needs for baptism, and we are moving his baptism up to next saturday. LIke. holy smokes. Its super cool. He continues to be the light of our life and miracle max. Other than that it was kinda a rough week though. WE need a good week this week. So were shooting for that :)

I hope everything is going awesome at home! Sorry. An hour for emails really just isnt enough.

I love you so much mom!

lvoe,

Christopher

October 14, 2013

I have 11 minutes before I have to leave to meet our invs. max. We are hiking a mountain with him today :) Sorry. I spent my time on other people this week. But. this was a good week. to say the least.

I'll answer your questions. I unfortunatley am in the same boat as my wayward bretheren. :) I mostly just dont have the room or the need for anything. The only thing I can come up with is a laundry hamper like the kind that you fold into nothing but that can stand up.... and... yup. Thats it. You really dont use or need much on your mission. If you send chocolate dont send plain chocolate. I cant stand normal hersheys anymore. like. It wont be eaten, because we will get so much other milk chocolate that will own its face off. Dark is delicious and doesnt find here, neither does reses or snickers or anything like that. So reses are good. :) But dont go too overboard either since I havent said anything else. :) Skittles are also delicious. :D

4 minutes left.

I'll try and write later but if not, I love bergen. Elder newey is super chill. Kinda quiet like every other dude ive trained but its been really fun. We have probably commited more people to baptism in one week than ive ever done before in a month :) The coolest one is max. He really wants to get baptized but he goes back to america in 2 months so we told him it might be better to go home and do it but he'd said he'd pray and give us an answer. In one day he read all of mosiah and when he got to chapter 18, he said he just felt like he really wants to do this here. So its happening in a fjord. in a couple weeks. He came to church and loved it. There is a possibility that he will be my new roommate at byu next year. and... yup. just a sweet, humble, ready guy. He loved the plan of salvation about temples. and He said it just feels like something that he had been missing. I cant express my feelings about him. Max literally converted himself. We didnt do anything at all. It was him that wanted to meet like 5 times last week, watch more genearl conference, come to sport eat dinner with us. WE took him to ther Grove family for dinner yesterday and taught the gospel of jesus christ and he loved it. I dont know whky. I told dad this but all my experience makes me appreciate how much we dont do. God leads us to these people. And he leads them to us. quote from max: most people like come to norway to party and stuff, but I came here and ended up reading the gospel. Its kinda funny'... yes max. it is pretty funny. and cool. He knows now why he came. :) ANyways. it literally was just to bless me. Max could have met missionaries anywhere and loved it. He came here for me. So thank you.

4 minutes overtime.

There were other way cool things. Our teach with magnus and sissel was amazing. even though magnus is straight atheist, just in meeting with him i can see the cahnge and feel him become just a little less hostile and much more accepting. his girlfriend is doing a good job on him :)
There were definately hard times. But The good is just smashing the bad into oblivion. Go team. I hope I answered all your question mom :) I love you.

Your letters are the ones i look forward to the most. SAying bosslike and using 3s for e's is not a requirement for love :)

Have a great week! yes i did get all your letters! thankn you soooo much! :D

bye!

October 7, 2013

Hey Mouayma!

Another week. gone. Theyre flying now people. :) Christmas is in.... like 2 and half months!!! AH! woot! We had another good week with its own fair share of miracles and struggles along with it. The switch was harder than I expected though in a way I think they always are. Especially when things are going well, its hard to try and switch over to something else. Especially with training, just because you give it your all to figure out how to help them get adjusted as fast as possible, whilst still trying to stay on top of all the other things that you have going on at the same time almost by yourself.

I stink way bad right now. We jsut played dodgeball with some of the young men for p day so i'm soaked through all my clothes with sweat... its pretty bad. I'm not a boy anymore. i'm like.... almost a man now. its weird. heh. good one right? :) i'm like 20 and half and I think i'm cool enough to be called a man. .. in the least, I feel quite much owned into oldness. ... :)

Pday last week was awesome. After emails we hiked up Fløyen just with me and Garrard. We didn't really know the way so we just kinda picked our way up. The crazy thing is, there are people that live like 20 meters from the top. Like.... on cliffs. I have some crazy pictures of houses on the straight cliffside. anyways. it was way cool. We had a way chill hike to the top and then when we got there had a transfer review one the most beautiful clear warm day that can possibly exsist during this time in Bergen. It was amazing. And incredibly warming for the heart. After a good while we decided to go ask a woman to take our picture and immediately following I just sat down and starting talking to her. We ended up teaching her for an hour overlooking the entire city of bergen. About 3 minutes in she started crying... Me and Garrard didn't know waht to do. Really. As we talked to her she had felt the spirit really strongly and greatly appreciated the chance to actuallytalk to those weird mormon boys she had always seen. She has seen them around for over 50 years (yeah she was old, but she rode a tram to the top :) and has never talked to them. When she actually heard what we did and why we did it she cried. She cried at several points as we talked with her and it was the coolest unexpected epic mountain teach ever.

My note with this is that despite how cool it was that didn't mean she was willing to change her faith or try something different. When I walked back and all one visiting missionary could say was, well when is she getting baptized? I was almost disturbed. Our efforts to baptize and convert people are meant well. And this does not in any way take away from the saviors command to baptize as so well put in General Conference, but it goes so much deeper than that. The love and joy that I felt for that woman was 0% contigent on her choice. It was for her, and for the fact that we had been able to give it to her in a beautiffully simple way. It did not matter what she chose.

To continue on, Tuesday was an incredible day with tons of cool things. We had packed it full to the brim with teaching and Kbabs with the district, and fun :) Forget dinner and most of studies. It was his last day and we were going to make it worth it. :) First we ran into max, who has become the boss of the world. since last sunday, he has read over 100 pages in the book of mormon. He loved General Conference too. on tuesday he came up and said uh... yeah i LOVE that book you gave me. its really interesting. I almost died. WHat? Then he asked if it was possible for him to come to church... of course man. he also showed up at the church to watch the last session with us this morning. (we decided to watch it for studies as a district this morning) so cool. Then we met rose. In the little english she speaks she told us that she loved this book. How the bible and this book... the same. :) You need give me 5 or 6 of this book, and i will give it to preachers in dubai. They need this book. ....

Rose. I don't think you understand. no one else believes in this book but us. We have a prophet rose. hmm. yes i know that you have prophets back in dubai... erm. ... yup. Thats how teaching her goes. She believes we have a prophet just not the prophet. :) yeah well. We had a miracle meeting with her on saturday too where we saw her and her 3 little kids on the bybane and had a way good chat. She has a testimony of the book of mormon, and no idea what to do with it :)

Then we taught Adal in a lightless church along with Knut Andreas. So in complete darkness. He recommited to baptism and we just had a waaay good teach with him. Helped go over his questions, and really he just loved it. He asked us to meet the next day.

I'm running out of friends. And time.... But when our greenies got here, they went straight to teaching language class and then we all taught adal with a whole bunch of electric candles for light. It was sooo cool. :)

Next day we visited our MMK at night and you will just have to look at the picture. This place is so amazing. And then I legitamately went in a circle and got lost trying to find our street. ... it was embarrasing :) Friday we taught IngerTheresa the coolest laday ever. Her childhood faith is mormonism and really wants to find out if its true. So thats exactly what she's going to do :) Way humble and just good teach.

General Conference was incredible. I really don't have a whole lot to say about it other than it was exactly what I needed. By the time the next one roles around, I will be different again. I will be able to look back and look at the leaps and bounds i've taken just as I have done these past two times. Only... I really only have this last period where I feel like life will be normal. By next GC I will be on death row. And I don't know how i'll feel. So i'm just not going to worry about it. :)

It was a beutiful week here, and I just pray things can continue on like they have been going. I hope you guys feel just as we do in my determination that 'we can do this'. Because we will not forget the Lord our God. Thats my spiritual message to you guys this week :)

I hope you know my eamils are probably more powerful and more thourgouh than my own journal :S'
ya well

Loves!!

September 30, 2013

Hey Morosa!

K well I don't know quite where to start with this one. I'll probably just go and you'll hop on with me at some point I'm sure. The first crazy thing is that I am training again! Elder Newey... heh. that made me laugh too :) haven't met the kid yet though so we'll see if he actually lives up to his name. That makes child number 4. and 3 grand children. :) If we have a mission conference at christmas again i'm going to have to get a slekt picture with all of my sons and grandsons. :) Anyways. I'm super sad to see Elder Garrard go though. I don't think i've ever just felt so ... on top of things as I have with him. Thats partly just because I came to bergen knowing and believing we would succeed and we did. So that was pretty legit. Though slightly OCD, we got along great together, and earned each others trust on a very deep level I think :)

Anyways so that is that random news. In other news I love life. I think I have just learned to move forward doing everything that I can in the future, and things have just kinda fallen into place. I can't even really explain it to myself. i can't really explain exactly where I'm at or how I feel, I just.... kinda got lost along the way. Does that make any sense? I can't believe it took me so long to really understand how important all of this is and really just throw myself into it wholeheartedly but at least it happened eventtually. That doesn't mean that it always stays liek that, as things always seem to go up and down but ever since my 'spiritual plummet'... sort of that i had a couple months back, what i've built back up is much strongr, and much... different than it was before. :)

I like it.

'And he saw that the seed was good, and the foundation of that very strong' therefore, he did not feel the urge to squish it with his finger like he does with all the random fruit flies in his apt.
yay. :)
(really though. I'm at straight war with the Fruit flies... I think I've scared my companion on several occasions. Just recently instead of killing them by the fifties with my hands I decided to take a page out of your book and use a vaccuum. :) much more effective)

I'm also grateful to have had a mother who raised me on salads :) Because honestly there is nothing that tastes more delicious than a salad after almost never making any of them. Last night it was literally like: forget the pizza, the salad is the best part! (it did have avacado and fettecini cheese in it... or at least some sort of really delicous cheese cube :) Serisously though. I just had that random thought. That you really don't get stuff as a kid, but when you're older its like duh, thats why you said don't play video games and eat potato chips all day. Life is worth so much more than that. Sorry. Wierd tangent.

NO. I am not vegaterian nor will I ever be so.

ok. wow. some actual stuff that happened. My whole district bossed it up last week. We broke the record for new investigators. All that president said was: how did you do that? it was miracles. and we are all pumped. like. We've had miracles like every day. Get kbabbed in the city, and say a prayer to find out if we should stay or go. get a call and have a member walk up and point out a less active who is across the square. Prayer = instantly answered. me and Garrard contacted: get this: 0 hours last week. And found more people than we had the week before just on Public transport, and random things that happened. So cool. Wednesday I went on splits with Elder collard and we taught Adal this way cool guy. You'll keep hearing more about him. But his story is that he's never had a religion though he's always believed very strongly in God. 3 Days before he met us he got a way strong feeling he needed to go find a church. Then he met us. 2 lessons later he's commited to getting baptized in a month. I was freaking out. of my
mind.
He asked us and we were the ones who said: yes. yes we can baptize you. Can you say prepared? Yesterday we taught this way cool american kid named max and a whole norwegian family who we found at the baptism. SOOO COOL. She fed us this way good pizza and her 15 year old daughter had invited no less than FIVE of her friends to come talk to the mormon missionaries. IT WAS SOOOO ....... weird. And cool. By the end though we were just outnumbered and outugnned. :) But it still went way good. We also met her 24 year old daughter and they invited us over to dinner at her and her boyfriends house for dinner this week. So that'll be cool. Anyways. it was all legit. Ran into struggling less active ysa randomly on the street that was super cool. anyways. helped a funny pillipino guy move. We are going to teach him and his family too. Anyways. I almost don't have enough time for everything. ...
Thats cool.

Anyways. i'm going to stop boring you with stories now but generally noted: I'm doing good. And i'm pumped for General Conference. I have by far the best job in the mission. And yup. I hope you guys have a great one! christmas will be here before you know it right?!? heh. time flyr. hly toledo!

Love

Sad missionaries? Contemplative missionaries? Silly missionaries? Yes, that.
